Before You Book (Important) ⚠️
Like mentioned, this is not your typical cabin, so to make sure this is the right fit for you, here are a few key things to know:

🚤 Getting There -
You’ll drive a small boat (±200–300m distance) to reach the houseboat.
No license needed, but you must feel comfortable doing this.
In wind or rain, you may get wet.
Night arrivals mean navigating in the dark.
Worst case scenario we might be able to assist you with this regard, but will be subject to availability of our team members.

The houseboat is anchored but not fixed.
It moves gently with the water. Not motorized.

🔌Off-Grid Living, Powered by solar energy.
Electricity is limited (especially at night or on cloudy days).
High-energy appliances need to be used mindfully.

💧 Water
Water is filtered directly from the vlei.
Clean, but not suitable for drinking or cooking (slightly salty).
Fresh drinking water is provided.

🧳Packing
Access is via small boat → pack light.
Most essentials are provided to make this easy. More luggage might mean 2 or 3 trips with the small boat to reach the House Boat.
