You’ll enjoy a guided tasting of five of the latest Lost Boy releases, personally presented by the winemaker himself, Trevor DeRuisé. This intimate experience takes place at the Lost Boy Barn, located right here inside the Romansbaai Estate.

The location, home and host was 10/10!
I’ve been to Romansbaai before however this stay was definitely better than our previous.
The home was clean, well lit, ideal relaxing environment in a perfect viewpoint of Overberg region and ocean.
The host Sanmarie has plenty of amenities available to guests which makes the stay even more pleasant.
We’d definitely love to return in the near future.

Romansbaai - the hidden gem
The name Romansbaai comes from the local name for the small fish called “roman”, commonly found in the waters here.
The estate is set within the Cape Floral Kingdom, surrounded by natural fynbos and home to free-roaming wildlife: zebras, springboks, eland, bontebok, and native birds like the African black oystercatcher
It’s a place where animals move freely and the landscape is left mostly untouched.
Just a 2-hour scenic drive from Cape Town, featuring a private, white-sand beach
The bay itself is a calm, north-facing stretch of beach — a rare orientation along South Africa’s south coast that makes it more sheltered and swimmable year-round.​​

Romansbaai was developed with a vision to preserve the indigenous fynbos biome, one of the most biodiverse floral kingdoms on Earth, while creating a modern space for tranquil living.
